Potluck Holiday at Work in Progress! ☃️

We wrapped up our final gathering of the year on December 11, 2024, at our usual cozy spot, Meadow Fig!
With the holidays just around the corner, we anticipated a tiny but mighty crew, so we decided to switch things up—a potluck! The table was overflowing with delicious contributions from our amazing community. A big thank-you to everyone who brought something yummy to share!
The evening featured two impromptu speakers:
- Sadie Goff: A talented graphic designer turned tattoo artist (and trust us, her work is stunning!). She gave us a sneak peek of her presentation for an upcoming tattoo drawing workshop. Check out her beautiful work (and maybe book a tattoo session 👀) on her website and Instagram!
- Hrant Papazian: A passionate type designer and K–12 educator, Hrant sparked an engaging discussion on the evolution of the modern piggy bank—has it changed for the worse? He even connected the concept to our work in design and, more broadly, in life. You can explore his typography practice and Instagram!

After the presentations, the night took its own cozy course. We had a bracelet-making station, played some Jackbox TV games, and enjoyed relaxed, feel-good vibes. Good people, great food, and meaningful connections. We couldn’t have asked for a better evening ~
A huge shoutout to Dee Foster for welcoming us into her beautiful space at Meadow Fig this year. We’re thrilled to share that we’ll be back in 2025!
